These terms govern your use of the SPOSCOR website (sposcor.com) and the SPOSCOR family of WordPress plugins. By downloading, installing, or purchasing SPOSCOR, you agree to them.
1. Who You’re Dealing With
powereight Co., Ltd. (有限会社powereight) Representative: Tsuyoshi Yamamoto, Director Shizuoka, Japan
Contact: support@sposcor.com
Payments are processed by Freemius, Inc., which acts as the Merchant of Record for all paid licenses. Your purchase contract for payment purposes is with Freemius; your license to use the software is with us.
2. The Software
2.1 Free version
The free version of SPOSCOR is distributed through the WordPress.org plugin directory under the GPL v2 or later. You may use, modify, and redistribute it under the terms of that license.
The free version displays a “Powered by SPOSCOR” credit. This credit may not be removed on the free tier.
2.2 Pro version
The Pro version is also licensed under the GPL v2 or later, as required for WordPress plugins. What you purchase is not the code itself but a license key that entitles you to:
- Activation of Pro features on the number of sites stated at checkout
- Plugin updates for the duration of your subscription
- Priority support (response within 48 hours on business days)
When your subscription ends, the plugin continues to function, but Pro features are deactivated and you stop receiving updates.
2.3 What we don’t promise
SPOSCOR is provided as is. We test against current versions of WordPress and PHP, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every theme, plugin, and server configuration in existence. Conflicts happen.
A free version is available. We strongly recommend testing it in your environment before purchasing.
3. Pricing and Payment
Prices are listed on the pricing page in US dollars. Whether tax (VAT, GST, sales tax) is added depends on your country and is shown at checkout.
Paid plans are billed annually and renew automatically on the anniversary of your purchase, at the price then in effect. If we change the price, we’ll notify you before your renewal date.
4. Refunds
4.1 Money-back guarantee
If, within 14 days of purchase, you run into a defect that makes the plugin unusable and we are unable to resolve it, we’ll refund you in full. Email support@sposcor.com and we’ll take a look.
Refunds are issued through Freemius and may take several business days to appear, depending on your payment method. Once refunded, the license is deactivated and Pro features stop working.
4.2 Renewals
The same 14-day window applies to automatic renewal charges.
4.3 What isn’t covered
- More than 14 days have passed since the charge
- A feature you wanted was never advertised as part of the plugin
- A conflict with third-party software that we’ve offered a workaround for
- Repeated refund requests from the same customer
- Use in breach of these terms
4.4 Defects, at any time
If the plugin doesn’t work because of a defect on our side, contact us regardless of how much time has passed. We’ll either fix it or refund you. This isn’t limited to the 14-day window.
We recommend testing the free version in your environment before purchasing, so you can confirm compatibility with your theme and other plugins.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel automatic renewal at any time from your license management dashboard, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Pro features until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
6. Support
Support is provided by email at support@sposcor.com, in English, Japanese, or Spanish.
Pro customers receive a response within 48 hours on business days. Free version users are supported through the WordPress.org support forums, on a best-effort basis.
Support covers the plugin itself. It does not extend to general WordPress troubleshooting, custom development, theme modification, or server configuration.
7. Your Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Resell or redistribute Pro license keys
- Share a license key across more sites than your plan permits
- Circumvent license validation
- Use the plugin for anything unlawful
We may deactivate a license without refund if it is used in breach of these terms.
8. Your Data
The plugin stores your match data in your own WordPress database. It stays on your server. We have no access to it.
What we do collect — and only if you opt in — is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of SPOSCOR is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data, lost revenue, or interruption of your site.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be announced on this page. Continuing to use SPOSCOR after a change means you accept the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Shizuoka District Court, as court of first instance.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction whose law grants you the right to bring proceedings locally, that right is unaffected.
