SPOSCOR Soccer is live on the WordPress.org plugin directory. It’s free to download and use.
Most sports plugins for WordPress are built around a player database and a full season management system. That’s the right tool if you’re running a professional league. It’s a lot of setup if all you want is to publish the results of last Saturday’s matches.
SPOSCOR takes the opposite approach. You enter a score, you paste one shortcode, and the match appears on your page. Nothing else is required.
What SPOSCOR Soccer does
Free
- Unlimited matches
- Six display themes (Light / Dark / Mono / Pro / Studio / Minimal)
- Team colours and team logos
- Starting lineups
- Match highlights
- Shortcodes you can place on any page or post
There are no artificial limits in the free version. If you only need to publish individual match results, the free version is the whole product.
Pro — $39 per year
Everything in the free version, plus the tools for running a competition:
- Competitions — league tables, tournament brackets, automatic fixture generation, live updates
- Full design control — colours and sizes, adjusted with a live preview
- Saved design presets
- Bulk paste for starting lineups
- OBS streaming overlay
- Priority support, answered within 48 hours
League tables and brackets on a single page
Create a competition and SPOSCOR generates the fixtures for you. As results come in, the table recalculates itself — points, goal difference, and ranking all update without a spreadsheet.
Shortcodes can be stacked. Put the group stage table and the knockout bracket on the same page and your visitors see the whole tournament at a glance.
A scoreboard built for OBS
The Pro version includes a dedicated view designed to be loaded as a browser source in OBS. The background is transparent, the numbers are large, and the view refreshes every five seconds. Update the score in your WordPress admin and it changes on the stream.
This matters for commentators who broadcast their own audio over a match they’re watching, without any video feed of their own. A live scoreboard on screen changes how the broadcast reads.
As far as we know, no other WordPress sports plugin offers an OBS view.
Getting started
You need two plugins.
- SPOSCOR Core — the shared foundation for every sport
- SPOSCOR Soccer — soccer-specific entry screens and display
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New, search for SPOSCOR, and install both. SPOSCOR Soccer will not run unless Core is active.
Then add a match, and paste the generated shortcode into any page or post.
Whether your site calls it football or soccer, the plugin handles the same thing: two teams, a score, and a result worth publishing.
Who this is for
- Local leagues and regional associations publishing results across a season
- Organisers of weekend tournaments who want results online the same day
- Clubs currently distributing results as PDF files
- Youth and community clubs without a dedicated web team
- Commentators and streamers who need a live scoreboard in OBS
- Agencies building sites for sports organisations
What comes next
SPOSCOR ships one plugin per sport. Basketball and baseball are already built and will be submitted to WordPress.org in turn.
Volleyball, table tennis, futsal, and handball follow.
The plugin is available in English, Japanese, and Spanish.
