SPOSCOR Padel is now available

SPOSCOR Padel is live on the WordPress.org plugin directory. It’s free to download and use.

As far as we can tell, there has been no way to publish padel results on a WordPress site.

On-court scoreboards exist in several forms — QR-code systems the players operate from a phone, screens mounted beside the court, remotes for an umpire. All of them show the score while the match is being played. None of them do anything with the result once the match is over.

Clubs end up posting a photo of the draw sheet, a PDF, or a social post that’s gone in two days.

What SPOSCOR Padel does

Free

  • Unlimited matches
  • Set-by-set scoring (best of three, six games, two-game margin)
  • Tie-break points in parentheses (7(7)-6(5))
  • Both players named on each side, with their club
  • Match highlights
  • Six display themes (Light / Dark / Mono / Pro / Studio / Minimal)
  • Colour and logo per pair (emoji or image)
  • Shortcodes you can place on any page or post

There are no artificial limits in the free version. If you only need to publish results, the free version is the whole product.

Pro — $39 per year

Everything in the free version, plus the tools for running a competition:

  • Competitions — standings, tournament brackets, automatic fixture generation, live updates
  • Full design control — colours and sizes, adjusted with a live preview
  • Saved design presets
  • OBS streaming overlay
  • Priority support, answered within 48 hours

A scoreboard that understands sets

A padel result doesn’t fit in a single number. Games per set, and if it goes to a tie-break, the points inside it as well. Build that by hand in an HTML table and it breaks the first time a match runs long.

SPOSCOR Padel builds it for you. Enter the score set by set and the table renders the way it’s written on the scoresheet: 7(7)-6(5).

With Pro, the group standings and the knockout draw can sit on the same page. If you run separate categories, one shortcode each puts them all in one place.

Getting started

You need two plugins.

  1. SPOSCOR Core — the shared foundation for every sport
  2. SPOSCOR Padel — padel-specific entry screens and display

In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New, search for SPOSCOR, and install both. SPOSCOR Padel will not run unless Core is active.

Then add a match, and paste the generated shortcode into any page or post.

Who this is for

  • Clubs running tournaments who want the results on their own site
  • Federations and tours managing competition across a season
  • Organisers running multiple categories who need it all published together
  • Venues putting on competitions for their members
  • Commentators and streamers who need a live scoreboard in OBS
  • Agencies building sites for sports clubs

Padel is opening courts faster than almost any other sport, and most of the clubs behind them are new. They’re setting up their results pages for the first time, with no established way of doing it. This is built to be that first option.

What comes next

SPOSCOR ships one plugin per sport. Soccer, basketball, baseball, and padel are available now.

Padel is the first with set-based scoring. Tennis, table tennis, volleyball, and badminton follow on the same foundation.

The plugin is available in English, Japanese, and Spanish.
