Basketball tends to run in dense formats — a dozen games in a single day at a youth tournament, a full weekend of league fixtures. The more games you play, the more work it takes to get the results online.

SPOSCOR Basketball keeps that work to a minimum. Enter the score, paste one shortcode, and the game appears on your page. Register a competition and every result feeds a standings table automatically.

What SPOSCOR Basketball does

Free

  • Unlimited games
  • Quarter-by-quarter scoring, with overtime
  • Six display themes (Light / Dark / Mono / Pro / Studio / Minimal)
  • Team colours and team logos
  • Starting lineups
  • Game highlights
  • Shortcodes you can place on any page or post

There are no artificial limits in the free version. If you only need to publish results, the free version is the whole product.

Pro — $39 per year

Everything in the free version, plus the tools for running a competition:

  • Competitions — standings, tournament brackets, automatic fixture generation, live updates
  • Full design control — colours and sizes, adjusted with a live preview
  • Saved design presets
  • Bulk paste for starting lineups
  • OBS streaming overlay
  • Priority support, answered within 48 hours

Group stage and bracket on a single page

Create a competition and SPOSCOR generates the fixtures. As results come in, the standings recalculate themselves — no spreadsheet, no manual arithmetic.

Shortcodes can be stacked. Put the group standings and the knockout bracket on the same page and visitors see the whole tournament at once.

The admin screens are built for one-handed use on a phone, so results can go up courtside between games rather than at home that evening.

A scoreboard built for OBS

The Pro version includes a dedicated view designed to be loaded as a browser source in OBS. The background is transparent, the numbers are large, and the view refreshes every five seconds. Update the score in your WordPress admin and it changes on the stream.

In a sport that scores this often, a scoreboard that lags behind the game is worse than no scoreboard at all.

Getting started

You need two plugins.

  1. SPOSCOR Core — the shared foundation for every sport
  2. SPOSCOR Basketball — basketball-specific entry screens and display

In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New, search for SPOSCOR, and install both. SPOSCOR Basketball will not run unless Core is active.

Then add a game, and paste the generated shortcode into any page or post.

Who this is for

  • Youth and school programmes running district tournaments
  • Associations publishing league results across a season
  • Organisers who want weekend results online the same day
  • Clubs currently distributing results as PDF files
  • Community clubs without a dedicated web team
  • Commentators and streamers who need a live scoreboard in OBS
  • Agencies building sites for sports organisations

Full-featured league platforms are more system, and more cost, than most of these organisations need. Hand-built HTML tables are less. This sits in between.

What comes next

SPOSCOR ships one plugin per sport. Soccer, basketball, and baseball are already available, and padel is in review.

Volleyball, table tennis, futsal, and handball follow.

The plugin is available in English, Japanese, and Spanish.
